2016 Full Marathon Route

We will run along Parnell Street to the junction with John Street.
Travel up John street and then take a right to Lady Lane, round by Cathedral square and over to Bailey New Street and down onto The Quay.
Along the Quay and left up Barronstrand Street, along George’s Street and down O’Connell Street all the way to Penrose Lane back onto The Quay.
All the way down the Quay to the Tower Hotel and left onto Lombard Street out the Dunmore Road to Newtown Road and turn right along the front of De la Salle College onto Park road and left up Water Street, onto Newtown Lower.
Back on to Newtown Road, turn right onto Passage Road and head for John’s Hill.
Take a right down John’s Hill, another right onto Otterans Place all the way to Waterside to Johnstown and right at the Mansion House to Ballytruckle Road.
Travel along Ballytruckle Road to St John’s Park via The Folly Roundabout to the Outer Ring Road.
Right onto the Outer Ring Road to the Couse Roundabout and then right into Kilcohan and straight until the Inner Ring Road.
Left onto the inner ring road and on to the Superquinn Roundabout, staying left heading onto the Tramore Road.
You will be guided left onto the new cycle lane parallel to the Tramore Road and then back onto the Tramore Road and on to the Ballindud Roundabout.
From the Ballindud Roundabout you travel out the Tramore Road taking a left turn to Ballikinsella, along the old Tramore Raod. Come back onto the new Tramore Road again and up to the Sommerville roundabout . Left into the estate and down along the New Road down to the start of the Prom.
Along The Prom in Front of T-Bay then up to Strand Street (Back of O’Shea’s). Turn right onto Turkey Road and on to Tivoli Terrace. Then at the pedestrian light go right down onto Crobally Mor estate and out onto Riverstown Road and back towards The Beach. Take a left down along by the front of T-Bay back via the new road to the Sommerville Roundabout.
Then back to the Ballindud Roundabout and onto the Tramore Road again and onto the front of Kingfisher into the Eco Park.
Then one circuit of the Eco Park out at the Recycle Gate onto Ballybeg Drive and right towards the Cork Road.
Then back to the RSC to the Finish.
