• Most creative finish line picture - Unfortunately, we will not be there to welcome you across the finish line, so share that experience with us all.

• Best marathon story - Either explain why competing means so much to you this year or give us an insight into or a laugh relating to a Viking marathon training experience.

• Best fancy dress (running the event) picture.

• Furthest, “full marathon” participant – who will be the entrant for the “full marathon” who resides the greatest distance from the city of Waterford. - Send a photo letting us know where you are.

• Furthest Waterford Native participant - who will be the Waterford Native taking part in this event who resides the greatest distance from their home city of Waterford. - Send a photo letting us know where you are.

• General Open Draw for all registered participants.

Special prize for running clubs and social running organisations.

Criteria:

• Highest cumulative miles run per club / social running organisation.
• Must have minimum of 3 persons in each category to be eligible.
• To be included in mileage calculation, all members of a club / organisation must register with same designated club name.
